MOPS are about…
Celebrating motherhood
Meeting needs
Making connections
Experiencing God’s love…through relationships and resources
M.O.P.S. is a program for mothers with children from birth through Kindergarten. We meet for two hours on the second and fourth Thursday each month during the school year (September- May.) During the meetings, Moms are involved in doing crafts, listening to guest speakers and discussing topics that are important to Mothers of preschoolers and their families. The children are involved in “Moppets” where they enjoy a special learning program based on the Christian message of love as taught in the Bible.
Moms come together to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. Our moms are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire – to be the best moms they can be. To sum it up, MOPS provides a safe place to relax, have fun, enjoy adult conversation, enjoy hot coffee and great food, and have time apart from our beloved preschoolers.
We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 9:15 all are welcome.

MOPS group at Christian Life CenterCome check out MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)! It’s a great opportunity to meet other moms of young children while getting some “me” time. We have wonderful childcare workers (all carefully screened by background clearances) who care for our children in age-appropriate classrooms. The kids enjoy their own playtime, lesson, snack and craft in “MOPPETS” while the mommies are chatting over breakfast, playing games, doing crafts, and hearing some great speakers. It’s such a great opportunity to meet other moms while knowing your kids are well-cared for in the same building. You will get a beeper in case your child needs you. We even do Moms Night Out once a month and one or two play dates every month.

Meeting times: 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 9:30-11:30 (registration begins at 9:15), September – May
Meeting place: Christian Life Center, 3100 Galloway Rd, Bensalem, PA

Dues: approx $55 per semester – this includes MOPS International membership fees (emails, magazine subscription, other “free” goodies), plus the costs of crafts and childcare workers and snacks/crafts for the children. Welcome to Moms on the Clock of Lower Bucks County!
Does this sound like you? …are you a working mom who does her very best to balance taking care of your family, your home, and your career…all while bringing home a paycheck? …are you a mom whose work schedule does not allow you to attend the traditional mother’s day group activities? …are you looking to meet other like-minded women and their children to build friendships for both you and your little ones? …are you a mom who lives in, or in close proximity to, Lower Bucks County and is looking for events taking place locally (and occasionally outside of town, i.e. Philly, Jersey Shore, etc.) If so, this might be the group for you!

We are looking for working moms who are willing to embrace the following concepts…
…”late afternoon, early evening and weekend” play dates (and mothers’ night out’s too!).
…”last-minute” play dates for the moms who do not want to schedule their “free days” in advance.
…”play dates and MNOs at least once a month” to be hosted by the organizer …with the hopes the frequency of these events will increase as our group group membership grows!
…”open events” where any meetup member can post (and even host!) an idea (right down to the specifics of date/time/location/etc. that works for them and find out who else might want to join them for the event.)
…”family get-together’s” once the group gets established and the mothers and children have had a chance to bond…and are willing to bring the dads into the mix!
If the Moms on the Clock of Lower Bucks County sounds like a meetup group you might enjoying being a part of, please join us! We work, we play hard, we do a great job of taking care of our families and our households… and together we can make this a very successful group of friends!

Wondering if there are any clubs for Mama’s that work outside of the home? I have joined some of these other clubs, but they are typically meeting during weekdays and work hours. I have attended some of the MNO events, but have always been curious if there is something out there that caters more specifically to parents who work full time outside of the home?

Hi to all the Moms who are out there trying their best for their children.
My name is Lisa, a Mother of 2 children. The best gifts God gave me. I filed for Divorce 28 months ago. My 15 yr. old son has Asperger’s Syndrome & my almost 11 yr. daughter has needs that are not fully diagnosed. I’m looking for support & new friends. I’ve tried many diff.groups YET I feel only other single or married Mom’s can provide support that I can learn from & be a better “divorced” Mom. I’m always a MOTHER regardless of now being Divorced. Please be in touch if you’re willing to welcome me into your MOM’S group. I’ll accept any support you can provide & will give whatever I can to help other Mom’s.Thank You. Mom L.
